Banana Mandazi


We grew up eating banana Mandazi (fritters) so making and eating these brings back so many happy childhood memories.

Ingredients:
2 x bananas
Batter (made from flour, egg and milk)
Oil
Cinnamon


Method:
Prepare the batter.
In a small pot heat the oil.
Peel and cut the bananas into quarters.
Dunk the banana’s into the batter and place (carefully) into the hot oil.
When golden brown remove from oil.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve with ice cream.
