Homemade Strawberry Jam


 
 
I have wanted to make jam for the longest time ever!  This recipe is quick and easy to make and the jam tastes delicious!  I was a little concerned about the amount of sugar you have to use but it works out well.  Enjoy!

Ingredients:

900g Strawberries, hulled
800g Caster Sugar

4 Tablespoons Lemon

Method:

Place the Strawberries into a pot and crush with a potato masher.
Add the sugar and lemon Juice.
Stir over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
Increase heat and bring mixture to a rolling boil, stirring often.
Transfer to hot sterile jars.
